I understand 100% ProxyGoblin is a software that pulls proxies out on the web so I could use in softwares like SenukeX and AMR...

    but what about ScrapeBox?

Honestly, I'm not quite familiarwith ScrapeBox, so have no idea what it is or supposed to do anyway?

Can ScrapeBox do what ProxyGoblindo by pulling proxies out on the web...plus much more?

Scrapebox does 1000x more things than just proxy scraping. It can scrape pretty much anything so yes, it is better value.

ProxyGoblin specialises in finding and testing public proxies. It will check to see if they pass Google, and also make sure they run with your type of software example Unicode.

Scrapebox tests proxies, but that's not it's main job that its dedicated to. Scrapebox is pretty much like a swiss army knife, it can do alot of things.

ProxyGoblin I have found to be excellent, especially when you turn the number of threads it uses up on a 1GB port VPS... it really can't be compared to SB. It must be at least 1000 times faster.

So I should just go with ScrapeBox?

Right now the main thing I need is to have proxies, so I won't be using any other features in ScrapeBox, but maybe later down the road I will need to so...so to think long-term get ScrapeBox now for the proxies getting features over Goblin Proxy?

You should set your goals first. If you want to focus ONLY on proxies all the way, then go for PG, if you want a all-in-one SEO tool then go for SB.

I have this same question. Like, can you get a good sized list of proxies from SB? Or is it better to just invest in some private proxies?

Scrapebox will provide very low quality proxies. If you just use it once in a blue moon for scraping some URL's then its fine. Otherwise get proxygoblin to get yourself more public proxies quicker and use SB to post with them.

Also don't expect much from public proxies even from PG, they're all shit at the end of the day. If your serious then you'll need private or semi-private proxies for posting.

dog-tag<----absolutely correct regarding posting with public proxies. I like to use them when scraping for urls. Like you, I do my posting with private proxies. And to be honest, Scrapebox sucks when it comes to their proxy scraper.
