    To all scrapebox users;

How much bandwidth do you use per day?
I started using SB last month and I realized that my download bandwidth has gone sky high, almost reached my monthly CAP by my ISP.

I noticed that just by 'checking for LIVE links' alone already took 3+ GB daily - according to the status bar.

Unless that is not accurate, how are you guys scraping/checking links daily? Any info will be great. Thanks.

That is just 1 of a LONG list of reasons we dont run Scrapebox from our home computers.

I use 2 Terabytes of bandwidth per month.

Yeah, you're better off using a vps or dedi if you plan on using SB on a daily basis.

As for me, I use about 10TB+ per vps/month :p

    Cheers.

I usually just run one instance since I have multiple servers.

You can run as many as you want but make sure it has enough resources, otherwise you will get a very low success rate.

Yikes. and I thought I'd be safe with my 300gb/m bandwidth limit once I get into Scrapebox a bit more.

I have an unlimited, uncapped broadband package from Virgin. I use SB both on my laptop and VPS pretty much 24/7.

If you need a bandwidth monitor for windows I recommend netmeter.

To answer the original question, I first ran scrapebox and home and was hitting 50GB on some days. Purchasing a server at xsserver was the best thing I've ever done as far as scrapebox is concerned.

I know some ISP says UNLIMITED, but on their fine print, it shows it only applies to 'regular' use? I think 50GB per day will sooner or later rise the flag? Thats like 1500GB per month :D

    Thanks!

    Yeah, thanks for the suggestion.
    Netmeter seems great.

Come to think of it, people who offers $5 for 100,000 (etc.) live backlinks on fiverr dont really make much, since with time+internet+VPS will definitely cost more than $5.

Except for Virgin (in UK). Their 50mb plan is unlimited. No capping, no restrictions. It's the only plan which doesn't limit your speeds.

Are you totally sure? They probably have a clause in their terms about fair usage or something like that. But usually unless someone that uses it occasionally starts complaining they wont care.

I can only imagine how much bandwidth I've chewed through with 10 Scrapebox Licenses running nearly around the clock :D on a very solid connection

Probably more than I want to recognize :p

I'm positive. Every other plan has a fair usage policy. They make it quite clear, even in the small print, that there is no cap.
