Anybody know how to prevent this? Its really irritating.

This is done by design. I think the slow poster is loading images, etc. to more simulate a 'real visit' to the blog being posted on. There is a popup that talks more about this when you start slow posting.

For me if I click out about 3 or 4 times I can then work alongside it.

If I click back on to see how it's doing I have to click out 3 or 4 more times.

Might work for you, works on mine.

Yep what johnsmith said....has to be that way to simulate a real browser session. Don't use slow poster mode if you don't want it or can't afford the loss of focus.

Hint - if you have a dual monitor setup you can work unimpeded on something else on the other monitor while slow poster runs.

Ok thanks. I thought Im the only suffering from this. I guess I will use slow poster only when I leave my computer on idle.

Thanks!

Another hint when you need the focus is to open the task manager. Then you have the focus back. I think it gets the focus - as already said - because it uses a IE control which is hidden.

Actually the dual screen thing and the task manager thing don't work for me. ok I can put on a movie and watch it, but when I want to type something in another program, it always loses focus after half a second, which is really annoying :p
So I only turn on slow poster when I'm going out or having something else to do that does not involve my laptop. It's also a reason why I'm thinking about setting up my old computer again just to run scrapebox.
