How many copies of scrapebox have been sold? The creator must be making a KILLING!
Well deserved. Could make a lot more.
If you could put the initial development costs with a risk whether it would be a successful product among IMers, you can do the same.
Initial Development Costs + Risks = $$$ in the end
Working for a company they could easily make $50k a year.
50k x 10 + 500k in ten years working for someone else.
they would have to sell 10,000 copies of scrapebox to equal that.
Plus scrapebox is a 24 hour job with no going home at 5
agreed. Scrapebox is useful, affordable, and the most important: Efficient!. I'm very happy with my purchase as you can see
I own 3 licenses (so far) and I'm sure there's people out there who own more then me. So I'm sure the software author is doing quite well.
Scrapebox is a Must in the IM world, and it's also very cheep. Worth every penny. If someone is thinking of buying it, don't think and buy it. Time is money
By the way there must be around 5k to 10k or more copies sold for sure
I think a little bit more. about 10k to 30k sold heh
What you really need to imagine is how much the BHW owner makes. Between donations, ads, and BST listing fees, he's making a killing.
