I've never seen this occur. I just opened 3 instances and renamed all of them and none of them duplicated.

Make sure you're opening unique files from different folders. If you have shortcuts make sure they're pulling from different SB folders and not all from the same set of files.

You can manually edit the SB instance in the scrapebox.ini file with notepad (line 90 in my ini files). The file is in the configuration folder.

May I know why you need so badly to name them different? I run my instances without looking on their names, leaving the default and I'm doing the job pretty well ;)

I'm not sure about the OP but I do it because I have different environments set up per instance. Rather than copy all those sbe files to different folders and trying to keep them straight for my routines I just make different instance names and match those to folder names. Then I have my linkwheels numbered similarly so I know which instance has my sbe file for that linkwheel. I then open SB and load the sbe and I'm ready to fire and know I'm building links for the correct wheel.

Basically just keeps everything organized and tidy. I work long hours so I don't like to think too much after I build the system. Just follow my map and everything should work as planned.

Not sure if that's your website by the same name but I did stumble on it earlier today and if that is you - nice job.

    Kind regards

Got your point and I will check your routine to see how it goes. Now I'm simply copying all the SB files in different folders and that's it. Yeah that's my site. Thank you:D

Yes and I name them just SB-1 through 5. Then I set up my environment for that link wheel or niche and save that environment (saves as an sbe file). I typically have 5-10 sbe files per instance. So I build links each day for a difference segment of my wheel. Today I opened each instance and ran Tuesday sbes on each. Although they all have the same name (Tuesday), in each instance those Tuesday sbes are different. Tomorrow I'll open all the instances again and run Wednesday sbes.

With organized sbes I can set up the comments, names, emails and blog lists for segments of my wheel as different sbes. So every week I run a corresponding nameday sbe (typically 7 per instance - one for each day of the week) and it targets a segment of that wheel on that day. So after a week I've built links for all segments of each wheel. The numbers 1-5 are for entire wheels. So SB-1 always works on linkwheel 1. SB-2 always works on linkwheel 2.

Hope that makes sense. I'm running on empty.
