    Hello,

i just bought scrapebox a couple days ago and am trying to figure out how to use them.

i am looking to buy some proxies to start blasting my websites for backlinks. i cant seem to figure out what the difference between private and shared proxies. i used the search button and google, trust me.

the main purpose that i bought scrapebox is to use it to get backlinks for my websites and to sell my services on Fiverr. I am relatively new so i do not know the right questions to ask so any advice is greatly appreciated.

so what is the diff between private and shared?

    which should i go for?

any recommendations on where to get proxies? subscriptions or pay per proxie?

    thanks
    Trevor

Private - You are the ONLY one who is gonna use that proxy server(Authentication required)

Shared - More than one person will be using the same proxy server at the same time(Authentication required)

Public - Open to world. Anyone can access the proxy service with out any authentication.

There's someone on here that sells a subscription to like 200 public proxies. there's another guy on here that sells 30 proxies for $30. I use 30 private proxies myself and have no problems... You definitely need private proxies for commenting at least in my opinion. If you try scraping public proxies it's gonna be tough getting going at first since everybody and their mother with a scrapebox is using the same proxies.

so do you mean the chances of getting a successful backlink is less while using public proxies knowing that other people with scrapebox is using the same proxie?

i have been playing around with harvesting public proxies and it seems like i would get 10 good proxies out of 3000. this all takes like 20-30 minutes to harvest as well. when i test these proxies again after a couple hours, they seem to be all dead so i would have to harvest more public proxies.

with your shared proxies, i assume it lasts longer? with private proxies i assume it lasts even longer since you are the only one using it?

when a proxie is not working anymore, does that mean google banned taht proxie?

i know i have some very basic questions so if there is a thread that goes through all this newb stuff, than i can search for it. last thing i wanna do is to annoy others by making them think that all i want is to be spoonfed. thanks for being patient with me.
