Scrapebox Purchase!!! They won't Activate m account and won't answer my messages?

Whenever i installed scrapebox on a new vps, it would take ~2 days for them to allow the change. I suggest you email them and wait.
 
I never used Scrapebox FYI. Issues happen and you need to allow the timeframe they stated for their response and stop crying for some beer money, like if they would make a difference to a multi-million software company operating for a decade.
It could be a trillion for 100 years. Wrong is wrong and I don't bow to anyone and for no amount of cash. It's like what Amazon did to Authors but nobody cares because you're getting free 1-2 day shipping and they make people billions likewise Facebook.

But hey voiced my concerns and it seems like one should not? huh. Just go along, don't ask questions? that is ridiculous. I have no issue spending my money where I am treated with some respect. To each his/her own.

Thank you for the advice. The whole thing was about 5-7 days. As a new customer wouldn't you have some concerns?

Interesting because they never got shit listed. My complaint when to mediation. How did you know this was shitlisted? They are protected here and no matter how you complain, they will always win here. I have no issues with reputable vendors.
 
@jashan you have a 10 year old sock puppet account with 4 posts and have trashed our sales thread, posted negative reviews, created this thread on BHW, created a shit list which was closed because it had no merit. Plus caused us hours of work, created multiple chargebacks and we wore the PayPal fees, cost us more then a license is worth and you have been refunded in full.

And we have done to you what? Nothing. All because you intentionally entered the wrong license details in to the software, if you didnt you would of been up and running on the date of purchase like everyone else.

A friend of mine said that the owner of ScrapeBox is being treated for Covid-19 in the hospital, so he may not be able to answer questions or activate his account in time (I think)

I could be wrong but i believe the way the shitlist process works is the buyer creates the shitlist thread, and only the buyer, seller and moderators can access it. This is a mediation step to resolve the issue before it's then listed publicly after a certain time.

In this case during the mediation process we gave the buyer a full refund and uploaded proof the buyer was entering invalid license details in to the software and we emailed them letting them know.

With the ScrapeBox discount we provide for BHW, from a $67 lifetime license we make very little profit. Once you take out PayPal fees, currency transfer fees, sales tax, accounting for the business, multiple monthly server bills, support costs, even the code compiler costs a lot for maintenance fees for updates. Then we have to update the software for life, and ScrapeBox is like 30 pieces of software as each addon is it's own .exe and code base.

So we are not out to price gouge people with subscriptions or huge up front costs, and try to make a good budget software that almost anyone can afford to make their work and life easier. Sven/Santos from GSA are the same, providing great affordable software.

This person had already cost us more then we even would make on the sale, and then we would still have to support them for life which could be hundreds of support emails like many users. What's to stop another shitlist/chargeback in a week when something doesn't work because he is loading a bad file? Given that we gave him a full refund and i wish him well finding an alternative better suited to him.

in 2011 you where kind enough to give me a free copy of scrapebox as i did
word of mouth your tool on many proxy forums , but as i never actually bought sbox
i only had an email and no key was ever set up, your support stopped activating
the free copy you gave me around 2017 -- and you probably got more sales
out of my word of mouth for your tool than i got using it for 4/5 yrs on 1 license
then cut me off...........

the tool for the price it costs is good value 10/10 --- support is a different story
just an observation from some one who has known you since you came to bhw
13 years ago. i was here then 2.

but as to the other guy ide say uve wasted enough time on it, refund block him
and move on, sooner the better. and your done .

Yes, we set you up with a free license for you to check proxies and operate your proxy service. Also advertised you on the ScrapeBox.com website (https://web.archive.org/web/20140208081351/http://www.scrapebox.com/proxy) which we have been offered a ton of money for and turned down, also I've got thousands of emails i have personally included your sales thread link in of people wanting proxies.

We had zero obligation to do any of this, all done for you free, to help you and as you said yourself you made a lot of money from this arrangement.

We started getting complaints about your service, the quality of proxies and hoops people had to jump through to buy from you. We also got ripped of thousands of dollars by another proxy service at the time operating on BHW. So we pulled all promotion and stuck with one provider MyPrivateProxy.net who have been absolutely brilliant and trouble free for 7 years.

So pretty disappointing to hear you say this, and not something i would bring up several years later and complain about especially when you never even bought a license but that's just me.

I migrated my Scrapebox to another server on Monday. It took longer than normal but my license was eventually moved so Scrapebox is still around.
