Ok so lets say you post to 1000 Blogs and have 10 Proxys.
    Thats 100 Blogs per Proxy.

Akismet gets triggered after 5 Blog Posts....

How will proxys ever be of any help?

You will know when your proxies get blacklisted if you are posting to AA blogs. Your success rate will drop through the floor. When that happens it is time to get some new ones.

I normally blast with 10-12 proxies and haven't had a problem yet =)
But as mentioned, get new ones when they die.

Here is what I like to do using public proxies.

    1. Harvest new proxies (10 to 20)
    2. BLAST!
    3. Export posted and failed.
    4. Harvest new proxies.
    5. BLAST failed list.
    6. repeat 3, 4, 5 steps until success ratio decrease dramatically.

If you are blasting a huge list, public proxies dies very very quickly in the process, so exporting failed ones and blasting again with the new proxies, you can squizz the list and get much higher success rate.

So the point is... those 90% of Sites that dont care about spam enough to get Akismet Api, you dont need proxys at all. And those 10% who care about spam a lot probably will get really mad and report your site. So point is: Dont use proxys.

You have just explained the whole point in using a proxy just there just about

"And those 10% who care about spam a lot probably will get really mad and report your site"

You IP will get banned automatically. Worst that will happen to your site is you getting a mad message from a webmaster.

You got to protect your real IP address at all costs from getting banned. Else not proxies will help you
