I'm beginning to generate some autoapprove lists, my question to all of you Scrapebox pros is what is your method for generating lists?

Do you simply scrape the search engines for Wordpress blogs, then hit them hard and do an immediate backlink check after running your list?

Do you backlink a pointless website that you own to reduce "spam complaints" from blog owners for your "money sites"? Do you use generic comments? Or full spam comments with backlinks only?

Just use a fake S*i*t*e to test blogs on, and once they are all done, check them instantly to see if they were auto approved, and save, rinse and repeat to build up your list

    Here is my approach:
Scrape a list of wordpress blogs,
run them through the d0follow / n0follow checker plugin
    usually about 5% are d0follow
    Blast those
    Save the results.
That way you make sure you get d0follow (which might not be as important but meh...)
But for all other then wordpress, i can only secon what AquaClean said.

Don't we have any plugin in Scrapebox that checks if the blogs have auto-approved comments?

    Hey here's my method but it only works since the last patch of SB (just for the end part), this method is shown a lot on the forum but I have my little twist;

    1) Harvest a bunch of blogengine blogs with random keywords
    2) Try to get 10 URLs that have a lot of spam on it (500+ comments)
    3) Use the linkextractor on them and get the list of all the external links from those pages.

With 10 URLs with 500 comments on each, that should make you around 5k urls from spam sites.

4)Now use the backlink checker on this list and extract all of those URLs backlinks.
5)Then I just take that big list and I shoot it into the fast commenter. Since last patch the fast commenter does WP MT BE and couple others.
    6) After the commenting is done just export all posted entries and run it thru link checker. All found entries are autoapprove and others are still postable blogs that might get approved.

So you kinda kill two birds with one stone here because with the new patch you don't have to run blog analyzer to know if your URLs are postable blogs, you post and get list of postable blogs at the same time if you see what I mean.

    Hope it helps!

In the beginning, I would immediately check the sites to see if my links were there to build an auto-approve list, but then I decided to be more productive with my time.

So I just started commenting on hundreds of thousands of sites for wordpress with some general comments, and every few days I would see that thousands were getting added as backlinks as shown in Yahoo.

So I would say don't worry about AutoApprove lists, but go all out.

    It's a Numbers Game.

I have a few large lists (i would say about 1.7 million unique domains in total).

I'm looking to trade with people who have 900,000+

If you have any please PM me

This is what I do, it works well. Just post and then check right away. I use generic comments. Also I've never heard a complaint from my domain registrar so using fake domains(while probably a better idea for this purpose) probably isn't necessary. Make sure you're using proxies though, as I've got several complaints coming from my server provider.

There is some great advice in this thread. I've personally used Nuz25's method and it works wonders.

Want a real gem of a hint? Most of us have blogs already, some that may have thousands upon thousands of spam comments. These are great resources to do reverse backlink checks on as well. For those savvy users that understand MySQL, do a database query and parse the information for strictly URLs.

Chances are you'll find a significant amount of Autoapprove URLs since the comments are generally extremely spammy and would only get posted on non-moderated blogs.
