    Greetings,

How many private proxies would be required to check PR on roughly 4000 domains?

I did some testing last week with 10 proxies from instantproxies and they were returning 403 errors almost immediately. This was with a small list of scraped URL's too.

I am wondering if it is bad proxies, bad settings on scrapebox, or some combination of the two?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Either the proxies are dead or they are blocked temporarily by Google.
Try tweaking the settings by increasing the number of seconds between search queries.

Don't check PR using private proxies. Use public anonymous proxies for that.

I just tested them again and they are all working, so they must have been temporarily blocked. I will check the timings. Thanks.

OK, that makes sense. How many proxies do you think would be to check 4k domains? What is the best way to get them; public lists, scraped, paid lists?

There are countless ways to get proxies. You can buy them here, or you can scrape them yourself, or you can find public lists(usually outdated).

I have no idea how many proxies you need. Experiment and you'll find out soon enough.

    Hi,

Give it some delay. Limit your threads as well. If I have 10 proxies I only run 2 threads max. Leave it running overnight. I've done a couple k URLS with like 20 proxies or so but I also took my sweet time with them.

About 50 proxies should do it.
