yeah I'm doing that on Mac OS X and it works pretty well. I have a clean XP Pro install snapshot that i can revert to in 10 seconds if windoze gets tweaked. works. If I wanted to screw with repartitioning my drive I'd just bootcamp it and boot up win, oh well, next box!

Look into thinapp if you really need to use scrapebox.

I am using VirtualBox on my Ubuntu laptop - has a Windows VM set up in there for all the windows apps I need to run.

Have you guys tried using wine? It uses way less resources than virtualization software. I haven't tried running scrapebox, but I managed to run a lot of apps like ms office, counter-strike source and world of warcraft.
    Check it out here:
    Code:
    http://www.winehq.org/
If you have ubuntu, all you need to do is type this into terminal:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install wine
After that, you can run windows executables by double clicking on them (you might need to move scrapebox folder to the virtual folder though)

    Working fine for me :)

@paincake - although it runs a lot of Window apps, Wine doesn't do them all - something like VirtualBox makes everything a lot easier (unless you like messing under the hood of Linux of course!)

If you are on MAC you can run it from Fusion - Windows xp/7
For linux you should install a virtual machine with Windows as well.
