I recently picked up scrapebox and ive been learning all kinds of tricks with it and reading different ways to use it. Now ive tampered with it for what seems to be 48hrs..reading about it changing proxies, trying different methods, etc etc. Now i havent commented anything yet ive just harvested some links...and for all of the noobs (including myself) the best advice i can give is to take your time!!! My initial reaction when i got it was to jump in and get it going! But i took my time and ended up with some links with very high PR. To my understanding a handful of links with high PR and that are clean is MUCH BETTER than a bunch of lousy links. Do youre homework and use the tool properly is my best advice for fellow noobs! BHW is like a massive instruction guide!!

Hope everyrone doesnt mind me posting this..but its the best advice i can give to those that just picked up scrapebox so far.

The best advice I can give to noobs is don't use it to automatically post comments as it's real power lies in finding high quality high pr blogs to write good quality comments on and get a decent backlink from. Best tool I have on my PC by far...

When you guys comment manually on high pr blogs, how are you managing to get your anchor text to stick?

A good trick is to read what the blog post says.. go to ezines or somewhere similar and then post to your blog/money site. Then after i've accumulated a few links back, i like to 301 redirect to my money site...

The trick really is to have a look at the other comments and see if anyone else is getting away with anchor text links. If you see none, just use a name and take the link juice. If you see someone writing a "nice post" with their name as cheap viagra the blog is probably unmodded. Whereas on some blogs a guy with "cheap viagra" may write one of the most amazing comments ever seen and the blog owner doesn't like the link but doesn't want to lose the comment so approves it.

Good post by echoray there. If a blog is nofollow, a link is good from there, but you shouldn't be wasting too much time getting links from them. It's claimed by google that links from nofollow sites will have no benefit to your site (I personally believe u get a tiny bit of link juice but not a whole heck of a lot).

You want some nofollow links to look natural to the engines but you're aim is to find lots of pr3+ d0follow blogs to put your link on.

Does this mean you are not using a buffer site? And is this ok to do when using bit.ly to link to the money site???

On another note, as stated by gregstereo in the post titled "how check follow on backlinks with scrapebox" he said "in general I think a link is better than nolink.". That sounds pretty decent to me.

Also im understand that if you scrape blogengine blogs you have better chance of receiving links that are do follow. I guess to each his own...im sure everyone has their own tactics lol.

I also tried the do follow / no follow addon.... not much luck their. Hopefully they can tighten that up and make everyone happy =)

It´s hard to build a list of d0fllw.

I stick with google news and fresh high pr blog posts, of course served with well spun up-to-date comments, meaning they´re on the subject of the harvested urls.

By far the most correct way to use sb IMHO.

Do research on the topic of the post! A few times I have stumbled upon PR 5 and 6 blogs about gamma rays and advanced mathematics (just an example) that I had no knowledge about. Just use your common sense, wikipedia and google to carefully construct a question that looks legit. Also if its an old post from say, 2 years ago, you will have to make it look like you 'just stumbled' across their post. Sometimes I have taken a few hours just for one good post. The thing is, if you fail and you get caught out for spam, good chance the webmaster will recognize your future links.

A link = a link in the end. Just spam =]

(Also take into account the rise of other search engines, especially big foreign ones that have no 'nofollow' tag)
