    Hello All,

Newbie to SB. I'm trying to scrape URL's for Ultimate Demon submission and it's taking WAY TOO LONG. I didn't touch the settings at all. I setup my custom footprints and it's 948480 keywords to be scraped. I have 15 semi dedicated proxies from Buy Proxies. What would be the optimal settings? Sorry for the newbie ? but I just want to do it right.

    Thanks!

    Ed

The number of thread to use is like 10-15% of the number of proxy you use...

Of course this also depends on how clean your proxy are... semi dedicated are not such a good idea for scraping since you have the chance that some one else have burn them. But speaking only about settings you should try to stay between the above percentage.

948480 keywords = 948,480,000 million urls PER keyword.

Since you don't have too many proxies, if I were you I'd scrape just the top 200 results for each footprint and split them into 10k keyword lists. Alternatively, use proxygo's proxy list service for scraping

It's not what he asked so try to actually read next time bro... Anyways OP, get (as mentioned her before) a good amount of proxies and things should improve quite a bit. Also check options and raise your thread count, forgot what it's called but it's the first option under options I believe.

This is indeed a good advice to follow but when we are talking about this amount of kw what is important is to keep things under the radar so you will not burn you proxy.

The configuration you suggest is more for fast poster where a big problem is the restriction of win and clear the bottle neck so your connection will not stuck in and fail.

When harvesting we are talking about 5-6 simultaneous connection, and any decent internet connection have no problem to deal with that number, what is important is to set-up things so you will not burn your proxy and for this, as suggested you should try to stay in the 10-15% ration - thread per search engine / number of proxy.
