Usually I've found sb good but for some reason it is totally ignoring my indexing clusters.

I check manually and 5 or so blogs are clearly indexed but SB says non at all are indexed.

Why is it playing hide and seek with me?

My new clusters are on porn hosting so could that have something to do with it?

Personally it is the only feature of SB which i don't like because it gets errors, many articles and web 2.0's are already indexed, SB tells that they aren't.

It just loves to trick you, when it queries Google and Google says a URL is indexed SB thinks "Now wouldn't it be a laugh if i told Ranko it's not lol".

Seriously though, show me one of these wrong URL's.

this is because of proxies, I also experienced this, sb has nothing to do with it, this occurs because of the proxies. Try checking the link without proxies and see if the result is the same

that's right. I experience the same with Indexed/ Page Rank checker when I use public proxies or I overuse my private proxies. Do the checking in batches of smalles lists and you will see more accurate results

Sweetfunny, I was gonna send you a pm but it said your box is closed (lol).

Maybe I don't know you well enough to ask you to open your box for me...

Guess I'll hit up support instead.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if you're not using proxies and you're bulk checking say more than 80-100 links, then Google will drop the query ban hammer on you.

The error occurs even if you don't use proxies.

Hey Sweet, I think it's the "/" "issue" that I e-mailed about. For example:

    http://www.hotmail.com indexed
    http://www.hotmail.com/ not indexed

    Remember?

Why bother checking if your links are indexed or not?

Why not just be concerned if your site is ranking?

That is all I care about for my sites.

    WTF?

With all due respect, I think it's quite important to check if links are getting indexed or not. if they are not, then it would be smart to move on to "Plan B" rather than wasting time on what doesn't produce.

This can also be a problem, google bans you if you check too many links without proxies to see if they are indexed or not, and in this case they can show up as not indexed

IMHO, just focus on your site ranking, 5 indexed links won't bring any goods to your site.

Yes correct that's what it was, the 3 URL's he sent me were wrong and don't exist and hence weren't indexed.

    TheMatrix, it's like this:

/faq/ doesnt exist and not indexed, but /faq is a valid page and is indexed. Root domains it does not matter, but with directory/file paths a slash or not are different URL's.

That is strange, Google is showing a cache and an info result for that URL when they shouldn't.
