How many people use the link checker after every blast...and in doing so...how accurate do you find it for checking links?

I notice when you use the fast poster, half the failed sites, if you run them again through the fast poster, they succeed. Just wondering if you need to run the link checker multiple times for accuracy?

I've accidentally forgotten to transfer my list and ran the Link Checker on the same list twice. I didn't see a difference.

I run my lists through the Fast Poster mode a couple of times to pick up the stragglers and then wait and put the posted lists together and run it once through Link Checker.

I use the link checker after each blast, the day after, the week after, etc. To see how many sticks. Some moderators are slow to approve comments, i even seen some comments get accepted up to 2 months after i posted on them heh.

Guess you can say its a bit slower than instant messaging :)

I have not been running my comments back through the "failed" sites. I should probably do this. I always check for links immediately after I comment though. I am using a pretty good list at the moment. SB says it posts to about 50% of the URLs. When I run the "Link Checker", about 50% of the pages it says were posted to actually have links, so I am netting about 25%.

I am running it through 25k pages at a pop, and am ending up with about 5-6K verified links each time!

Link checker is very useful if you want to build a masterlist which will be used on multiple campaigns. There are some limitations which have nothing to do with scrapebox.

    1. Bandwidth ---You will need some!
    2. Internet connection-If you select 50 multiple connections and your connection is not that good, you will get timeouts. So adjust scrapebox connection according to your connection.

The purpose of link checker is to find blogs which you can use in the future. I am using it all the time since its a waste of time to post to blogs with closed comments, weird moderators etc.

I run the other link checker (the free one) even though I have paid scrapebox. For some reason it checks out much better for me, although it does not return the anchor it does the job that links exist or not :)

Why do link checker right after a blast since most of Wp sites are not auto approve? Wont you have to wait about 2-3 days before checking (depending on the mod)

You said it...its most of the blogs, not all. Link checker is very useful to be honest. The first 10k links with scrapebox took me more than a month. This is where this addon comes and makes things easier.

You blast, you check, you keep.

Yeah, I am waiting about a week and then link checking my blasts. Im using the built in link checker...I shall also use the add on tool and see if the results vary, not thought of that.

What I am curious about as well is actually when you build your master list, and continue blasting it for whatever campaign, the sites are going to get pretty much spammed to death correct? Is the link still worth bagging on a heavily spammed site with so many out bound links?

Ding winner on the first paragraph - wait a few days to a week and the mods will have completed their approval process on your blast.

On the second part, I think links on heavily commented blogs are still worth something. That said, you can always use the OBL analyser to weed out the sites that have been comment-raped and really focus on higher-value, unprotected sites to improve your scores.

I usually check my links with link checker and I will check some links manually also.. I think it's pretty accurate.
