    Hi,

Just wanted to check how reliable is scrapebox link checker? I've been using it for 7-8 months now.
Many times it gives the status as 'Not found' and still gives the anchor text and link in front of this entry.
Sometimes it says 'Not found' but still on manual check, I can find my link on the blog.

So, did anyone else also face this situation? If yes, why does this happen?

    Thanks

If you are getting a log of not founds when the link is really there you might try running less threads and see if that makes a difference. Also I find the stand alone link checker seems to run a bit better.

I believe scrapebox doesnt parse the html, but uses a regular expression to check whether your link is there.

So sometimes it will report the link as found even if its not really a link, but a text in <input></input> field.
