I think i am doing something wrong with scrapebox, just started today.

I entered my keywords, and harvested, then posted comments. but when I run a backlink check, it comes up as only 3 being found? Am I doing something wrong?

Finding blogs that autopost comments takes work. All other blogs are probably going to have your comments queued for the moderator to approve. That's why you didn't see a lot of comments immediately visible via Check Links. The comments may get trashed, marked as spam, or if you're lucky approved, but that takes time.

Of course if you get on the Askimet banned list, they will immediately get canned for the blogs running Askimet.

There are few ways to find autoapprove blogs. The method I use is to take a list of autoapprove blogs (mine or some list that gets posted from time to time here) run it through Link Checker for external links. Add that list to the onboard text editor and add Link: as a prefix.

Take that list and add that to the keyword list. Harvest for those links.

Then run that list through Blog Analyzer add on and clean it up so that you only have MT, BE and WP blogs.

Hammer that list using some urls for my web 2.0 or forum profiles. Check the links and then save the autoapproved and use that for my sites.

You can do more harvesting if you repeat the middle steps. It's a numbers game and it takes a bit of work, but you can build up a decent list of autoapprove sites that way.

No you are probably not doing anything wrong. A lot of blogs are moderated, meaning an admin has to approve comments before they are live. That can take anywhere from hours to days depending on the traffic of the site and the laziness of the admin.
