    Hi,
I have a vps running on windows server 2008, 512 Ram and 1000 GB bandwith, I bought this only to use Scrapebox, Running well ,
but i got a new problem with the bandwidth management ,
Installed scrapebox about 24 hours ago ,
    scraped proxies 3 times ,
    scraped some keyword 1 time
harvested urls one time [ found 100k url]
    made blast 1 time
    checked links 1 time

BUT this work consumed 18% of my total VPS bandwidth, means 180 GB
    is it normal?

    how to reduce bandwidth consumption?

    Thanks in advance

180GB? Seems too much to me. Not sure what you should do man. May be there's some problem with the bandwidth meter?

Its too weird if you ask me. I mean, 180GB is just too much.

    Pintonbd,

Not sure what you could do to reduce bandwidth. However, 180GB for one day is way to high. I checked my stats just now and a machine I have running two instances of ScrapeBox Posting/Checking links 24/7 used just over 10GB of bandwidth. Your VPS is only running a single instance of Scrapebox?

Seems to me that it's not your bandwidth but more on server load.

There is an option to turn off images if you are using slow poster, and that sounds a bit higher than normal, but SB is a bandwidth hog, so I don't doubt that it's possible if you harvested a ton of keywords and urls. You are loading hundreds of thousands of pages which takes a lot of downloading.

I would continue to test it and see if you are still burning bandwidth at the same rate.

There's many reason, one of them are faster speed that mean more backlinks. And more backlinks produce more money to multiply your investment.

I need to find a server that offered unmetered bandwidth.. I was running it on my desktop last night and I burned about 35 GB of bandwidth in 7-8 hours...

Anyone want to share a server from fdcservers (.) net with me? They offer unmetered bandwidth!

I just started using scrapebox..so this is a noob question but I have DSL but its from my house (that I share with my parents) is using scrapebox going to run up the internet bill?

Like should I be worried about running scrapebox using the bandwidth under my parent's internet?

I think 180 GB is not normal. You have to check another day and the result is same then i think its not only for SB.I am also using SB and it is not more then 10~20 GB per day

Your VPS provider is blatantly lying to you mate ;)

For such small scale usage I haven't used more than 50GB in one day.

Either something is wrong with your VPS provider, or you are taking the readings wrong. No way on earth SB would take up soo much bandwidth in a day.

    1. to keep from having an issue with your isp over bandwidth usuage
    2. allow you to use your home internet connection normally
    3. higher bandwidth and a dedicated box means more threads which means more links per day.
    4. make sure your isp does not get any spamming complaints and shut off your connection
