I am wondering whats the difference between these footprints for harvesting:

    1) "powered by wordpress" "dog training" + "cat training"

    2) "powered by wordpress" "dog training" "cat training"

    3) "powered by wordpress" + "dog training" "cat training"

    4) "powered by wordpress" "dog training" AND "cat training"

Noticing some with 1) has two "+", while 2) has nothing, 3) has one "+" and 4) uses a "AND" operator.

    Please advise. Thanksw

There is no difference between them. Try it out by yourself and put all 4 footprints into Google, they will show you all the same results.
What people seem to forget is, the "+" operator has been removed by Google a few month ago. You can still use it, but Google just ignores it now. It has been replaced by quotation marks.

Btw the operator "and" is useless. "And" is automatically implied when typing two words without quotation marks, or word phrases with quotation marks into the Google search. Like if you type apples oranges into Google, it automatically reads it as apples and oranges.
"Or" is an useful operator, but not "and".

As blackfairy said, all are same. No difference in the number of results, or the results themselves!

    Thanks guys.

So what will be the footprint for something like

    "dog training" OR "cat training"

does operate still works? especially on scrapebox? What about 'negative' keywords? (-keyword).

I find putting -keyword sometimes not working, because I still get results with that keyword.

    OR operator still works.

And for -ve operator to work, make sure there's no space between the - sign and the keyword.

    Thanks again.
    So if I want to harvest wordpress blog based on dates;
    how would I do that?

    A) "Jan 05" OR "Jan 06"

    B) Jan "05 OR 06"

    which one?
An example will be great. Thanks again

    Hey SuperNoob,

Is it too hard for you to type the Google URL and try all the examples for yourself? :D

Wasting valuable time of other members unnecessarily means a major loss in self-learning opportunities, IMHO!

    FTTB, play on these:
    Code:
    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=wordpress+%22posted+on%22+Jan+%2205+OR+06%22
    Code:
    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=wordpress+%22posted+on%22+%22Jan+05%22+OR+%22Jan+06%22

    The first one.

The second one will return pages that contain the exact phrase "05 OR 06"

I beg to differ on your statement, once again ;)

You see, Google doesn't always act in a logical manner. :D

Now what makes you think so? :-o (oops, this sign also suggests something s3xual if you look at it for a few moments! :D. And/But I used it solely to denote my amazed-horror expression! lol)

That could be a big trouble if someone calls it sexually discrimination(atory) statement targeted at the highest global/universal authority!!!

Female: Because on special occasions it decorates itself very elegantly. Did you not notice the various ways they write their name Google on the site on christmas, new year etc.

The first one "Jan 05" OR "Jan 06" gives you every page which contains either the exact search phrase "Jan 05" or "Jan 06".
While the second one Jan "05 OR 06" gives you also sites that contains the complete word January and not only the abbreviation Jan.
