    Hi,

I'm trying to cut cost on my internet marketing, so I'm thinking about getting rid of my VPN's.

However, I'm worried that my ISP would cut my internet connection if it see's me commenting on thousands of websites with scrapebox.

Is a proxy enough to hide my scrapebox activity from my ISP or do I need a VPN if I want to be undetected?

    Thanks.

If the ISP is monitoring its traffic, then they can see all traffic that's not being passed through HTTPS. This means that they will also be able to see traffic content that's going to the proxies, as they are usually not using HTTPS.

You're better off with a VPS or VPN to do what you want done.

If a VPS is to expensive for you, then in my opinion it would be best to outsource your work to fiverr.

I highly doubt your ISP is monitoring all their customers traffic, however if you are really worried get a VPS/VPN as already advised

    This

Also, a VPS costing say $30 a month can be on 24/7, often have better bandwidth than your home ISP provides and cost you zero in electricity and leave your home internet connection for other stuff. Don't forget peace of mind. Set it up running disconnect and get on with other work on your home PC. Check in once or twice a day.

Hell, the saving on electricity alone is probably most of the cost of a cheap VPS - and these days, where drip feed linking is vital - running a VPS sending out links slow and steady around the clock is almost a neccesity.

Since we're on the topic, would you mind recommending a solid $30/month VPS provider?

I have a VPS but I'm already running Zennoposter on it, and upgrading or buying another one would double the cost so I think I'll just renew my VPN subscription and use my home PC for scrapebox. I'm only using it for harvesting and indexing purposes anyway.

No beers for me tonight.. :/

Your IPS can see it all, I have had my IPS temporarily cut my connection during scrapbox activity, but there was no way of knowing if it was my ISP or the software overloading my connection or not, but I believe it was my ISP. loopline talks about how scrapbox can seem like it it sending out a small DDOS attack, so just be careful and don't push it to it's limits and you should be good to go, you can also talk to them on their sales thread here, and they will help you out with questions like this.
