    I'm trying to get my links to be "Golfing" instead of just "http://golfing.com"

    Is there something I put into the Websites file to get it to do that?

    Or I should I replace my Names list with keywords?

    Thanks! I couldn't find any threads on here to answer this.

    You should use your keywords as Names.

    When commenting, "Websites" will be the actual links and "Names" will be the anchor texts.
    As simple as that.

    And also, look at the manual, it will probably answer your 50 next questions. :)

    You can also try putting a link inside of the text. Sometimes the blog understands html, other times it doesn't.

    Thanks. I've watched 75% of the videos and they only show using the random name generator to create names.....which is pointless if using keywords is the way to go.

    Maybe it was in one of the videos I missed though :)

    efwebs,

    There is an easy way to use your keywords in place of the name.

    In your file containing your sites to backlink to, add the keywords in brackets after the URL.

    Using the format below, SB will ignore the names in your name file and instead use the keywords in the name field.

    Code:
    http://mysite.com {keyword}
    for a single keyword

    http://mysite.com {keyword 1|keyword 2|keyword 3}
    if you want SB to randomly choose from several keywords

    Thanks for explaining this the way you did. I have a book that addresses this topic, but your explanation of the same thing is clearer.

    Use both, keywords as well as names, its about the diversity of links.

    In "Names" put your keywords you are targeting
    In Website, put your website link

    there is an easy way for that
    in the website txt file

    www.website1.com {keyword1|keyword2|.....}
    www.website2.com {keyword1|keyword2|.....}
    www.website3.com {keyword1|keyword2|.....}

    with this format you can enter as many keywords as you want for each url
    scrapebox will use the spinned keywords instead of name file

    LOL, I just opened this thread and realized I started it a few weeks back.

    Anyway, I've made an excel template since then to speed up making my websites file.

    Go to the first sheet and add your sites in the first column and fill in keywords in next three columns, with main KW first.

    Go to second sheet and copy the first cell down for as many sites as you entered (so if you entered 50 sites, you want the formula copied into 50 rows).

    Then cut and paste that list into a txt file, and upload thats in SB as your websites file.

    It makes a list in the format that SB wants and puts in emphasis on that first KW (so it takes it 75% of the time, and splits the rest between KW two and three).

    I'll make a video later, but since this just resurfaced I thought I'd contribute :)
