According to backlinkwatch most of my backlinks have no anchor text. I am using my keywords in the "name" file when posting. The ones that do have an achor text however ended up ALL being nofollow :( Is this because wordpress blogs are nofollow?

    Thanks,
    xxf8xx

name field doesnt count as anchor text, some people think if you do use keywords it may help but considering the name field was never meant for keywords i dont think it helps whatsoever. It's meant for your actual name so why in the world would search engines see it as anything other then a name, but thats just my opinion

and yes most wordpress blogs are nofollow. If you want more d0f0low use blog engine

Ok thanks, but then how exactly do I get backlinks with anchor text? I mean sure I could add my link in the comments but that would lower my stick rate.

Yeah you wouldn't get many of them through comments. I think anchor text backlinks are better left for articles and such.
