Earlier today I uploaded a huge list of sites (which I know use SB) to the Back Link checker, to obviously harvest a list for me to target.
The total amount of URLs added was over 400,000 and I let it ran for an hour or so before stopping it and selecting 'Download All'.

Almost 2 hours later and it's not yet created the file - is this normal? Can it take hours for SB to get the txt file with all the backlinks, if this runs into 100,000s or even millions? Or will it just 'hang'?

It's only 1gb Ram and has Tweet Adder also running, so my first thoughts is that it will work, it will just take quite a while, due to the huge amount of URLs it's dealing with.

Same problem here, I dont want to use YahooBOSSApp because it takes forever.

The backlink checker on scrapebox is good, but I dont think the download all button works. It just freezes on me..

It works on smaller lists as I've successfully downloaded them, but on that large list, it never finished downloading, it would just show the egg timer when you moved the mouse over, as if it was still processing. Maybe it was, but it sure was taking it's time.

I may have to resort to chopping the competitor URLs into smaller chunks and then running them through the backlink checker. Seems the only obvious approach.

Yeah I guess so... We would have to do that like 50 times though.. the list I want to check backlinks for is 40mb. It would take like 100 different times

Pay for some good proxies. I had the same problem when I was using public proxies.

Maybe it just needs a long time to save, as we're talking a huge amount of data? Admittedly it shouldn't take more than a sodding hour, but I may test it and leave it to save overnight to see if it 'downloads all'... eventually.
