Scrapebox B Analyzer. If you get a main url of a blog it will show as comments are closed.
I am missing alot of blogs this way...
I went back to some URL where Scrapebox Blog Analyzer detected Wordpress but in "OPEN" it said no. The problem was that it was main url of the blog and not a post.

    Does anybody have a solution?
Seems like I am missing tons of relevant links.

That's not a problem, it's the whole idea of the addon. The addons designed to detect blog "posts" that you can comment on, you generally cannot comment on a blogs homepage.

I don't understand how you are missing tons of relevant links by having URL's with no comment form marked as "No" because you can't get a link from that URL.

Tell us all, how should it work? And the nofollow addon is a total failure why? If you have a more accurate method for detecting Wordpress do follow URL's post it, actually lets split test it and see.

I've found that the B analyzer is working pretty well, definitely saved me some time anyway :)

@SweetFunny, how does the current nofollow addon work? Does it read the source code of the hyperlinks in current comments, or check for nofollow in the entire source code?

It detects the comment block, then detects the do/nofollow status at the link level inside the comment block. Unknown Assumption is generally no comments on the page to determine the status or comments closed. Checking on a page level (entire page source) was too inaccurate to even use as a fallback in those cases.

why dont you try getting the internal links of the blog and then scanning those.. it doesnt make sense the SB would be able to tell you comments are on on a page with no comment fields..

Use custom footprints when scraping to get pages with the actual comment fields in them.
    for example:

    Code:
"powered by wordpress" + "Name (required)" + "Mail (will not be published) (required)"

SB is absolutely the best software investment I have made. Only problem I have with it is large blocks of 'timeout errors' using the analyzer. Any fix for this or is it normal?

    Thanks

SB is a just a tool and it totally depends on how you use it, be creative and you have a fortune be ignorant and you can leave comments on forum about which no one really gives a ....

NO OFFENCE BRO, BUT SB IS REALLY ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS EVER. ALMOST ALL SENIOR MEMBERS HERE USE IT, I PERSONALLY USE IT 24/7

i dont see how your having problems with the scrapebox addons... are you making sure they are updated to the latest version? maybe read some tutorials on their use. I use scrapebox at least 3 times a week and i think it was the best cash spent on any tool that i use and i own xrumer as well :p

Since you dont understand let me explain it better
BLOG IS found, but can not be used because there is no feature to look at the last post or figure out that its a homepage and posting maybe allowed in the actual posts pages.

Its a suggestion and a question for a solution if you dont think its a good Idea its your opinion I am just speaking my mind.

    ceaser2,

What list are you analysing? If it is a lump of URLs you have just scraped, then they won't be the homepage, but the actual post url.

The question is, why are you analysing the acual blog domains, instead of individual posts? Sounds like you're just trying to make your life a lot harder. :)

You can get around this by exporting lists of valid blogs that have comments "closed". Trim that list to root. Run site: operator on that list. Now you have all the blog posts for that site. Run that list through blog analyzer again and you will see if comments truly are closed.

You just need to think on your feet.

I've read that the new proxy harvester/tester has issues doing IP test. Is this true & if so, is it being addressed?

Also, could you improve the tester, so it runs the next tests only for those proxies that were able to pass the previous test? Meaning, if "ignore google" isn't checked, run ip test only for those that passed google test & then run time test only for those that passed google & ip test. This would be a tremendous time saver.

How am I supposed to view the information gleaned from the Do/Nofollow results? I have only used it a couple of times and didn't know what to do with the results so have avoided it since.

Does it show the amount of no/********s on the page and it's up to me to judge something? I don't understand
