I have SB on a VPS + 20 private proxies... the SB is just flying with the Fast Poster, but posted entries are really low.

For example: AA list from ScrapeboxList.com
70 000 urls operation completed for 21 minutes and only 350 posted (found will be much less)
    Maximum connections: 35
    Change proxy every 4 post
    Fast poster timeout: 60 seconds

I have much better results with harvested public proxies, but the speed is too low with them.

What can be wrong in my setup?

Export the results and then sort by the reason for the failures and see if you determine why most of them failed. If you see a lot of timeouts you either need to up to 90 sec or drop the number of threads. If you see a lot of 404s then it is probably your list.

Split your list into 10k segments and do some experimenting to find the best results for your particular setup.

You can also check the Failed Once.. As per "LOOPLINE" Recommendation sometimes SB Can't able to Get the Success Message... SO please check the Failed once with the Link Checking Tools...

I would put "Change proxy every 1 post" and put your connection timeout to 90 seconds.

When did you buy the list? Awhile ago or recent? Old lists' will always give you a low success rate no matter what settings you have. Blogs tend to die over time either because the owner deleted it or has been suspended due to exceeding bandwitdh limit or the owner disabled other users from commenting on their blogs.

Yes, I get your point, but as I said I got better results in terms of successful posting with public proxies (though much slower) than with private ones... which is the weird thing for me

I had this problem when I tried posting using BlackBoxRDP's free squid proxies from their top tier plan. Harevesting/scraping works just fine and the postings flew by, but they all got 503 status code. Had to get separate proxies.

I would suggest lowering your Max Connections for Fast Poster, 35 Seems really high. I use 10 Private Proxies and public proxies, changing private proxy every 2 posts, at Max Connections varying between 10-20.

Also just because Scrapebox says success rate is more Failed than Successful, doesn't mean that nothing was posted. Do a link check of every link, not just success, to determine your success rate.

Have you checked if your proxies are blacklisted?

Well I only check them in SB itself... how otherwise to check if they are blacklisted?

I followed your suggestion put proxy to change every one post + timeout 90 seconds... also harvested my own list using specific footprints letting SB to harvest only sites with more than 10 comments, thus the probability they would allow spam comments is bigger... so I harvested 400k urls, from which 100k were posted on Fast poster mode. Unfortunately from the 100k posted, found are less than 1000 urls :(

Sorry for a bit of hijacking, but is this possible within SB or do you have another tool/editor to recommend?

Hi guys, same problem here. Sorry to hijack but this may probably help others.

I am using 10 private SquidProxies and I bought a Feb AA list off ScrapeBrokers. My first run managed to get me 3500+ success out of 10k blogs. I subsequently have been rerunning those blogs and I have 7500+ blogs down now. Is this good or poor success? I have read about people getting about 85%.

I have set the timeout to 90s and my maximum connections are at 100. Any other tips to improve the success rate? Thanks,

Yes, it's possible... SB is a must have tool with multiple purposes, buy it and you won't regret!

7500+ from 10k is really big success keeping in mind your 100 connections lol

Try lowering the max connections to 35 and see results again.

Does lowering the connections help? I got 7500+ by re-running for 2 days. Probably rerunning failures 20x times. I'm doing the massive SB blast case study by bfellow on a thread here. He mentioned sending the links into links2rss and exporting into xml, followed by uploading them on an unrelated domain and then ping them. My question here is, can I just do scheduled pings instead? O am definitely not going to ping all at one go.

With 10 private proxies, 100 connections you have posted to 10k links 2 days??? lol
It takes me 20 minutes max.

About pinging your xml, there is a SB scheduler but I haven't used it... maybe just make smaller rss link packets and ping them everyday.

Look at your log and see why they are failing. Best guess is you are seeing a lot of timeouts with 100 connections. Drop it down and see what happens. You are much better off running them once or twice a little slower than running them over and over for two days and getting crappy results.

this is what i read somewhere

    1. Fast poster timeout set to 90 seconds
    2. Max the "Slow and Manual Poster Links" in the settings menu to 4096KB (this affects the fast poster too)
    3. Use private proxies only

Lol. I meant that I am exporting the successful posts into one file and exporting the failures into another. When it's done, I re-load the failures file and re-run them to get more blogs posted. Not taking 2 days for one run! That would be ridiculous. What would be an appropriate amount to ping everyday?

I'm actually seeing a lot of 'unable to post'. I already ran a link check for dead links and removed them. All recommended settings have been set.

I have been running SB for a few weeks. My question was if there is a way to split larger files into smaller files withing SB. SB dies after 160k fast posts. :D

It should not die at 160k I normally 500k lists.

Load your list into the harvester window and then export and you will see a choice for splitting the file.
