    Hello,

I have scraped some thousands of wordpress blogs related to my niche and then I posted succesfully 15k comments.

I then proceeded to check links and only 40 were found.

    I'm using 60 private proxies.

    What's happening here?

Some are pending and a majority aren't posted...SB tends to have a nice failure rate. If you want to have more live links, use the slow poster lol, or just keep at it.

Don't get me wrong, I love SB and I use it every day. Just telling you the facts. Nothing is perfect.

After which time you have checked your comments?
If you did this after a few minutes (or in a short period when nobody can check and approve your comment) you only can get the autoapprove backlinks.

Wait until tomorrow and check again.. More comments should be approved then

I successfully posted 15k comments and 40 are live. That's an 0.3% success rate.

I did this right after posting because I'm building a auto approve list for me.
In the previous blast I got 200 live links with 4000 success posts, so with this bigger blast I was expecting much more than 40 links.

Auto approve is always a gamble. Some niches tend to have a tonne of auto approve, others don't (Think spammy niches etc).

Also, you should check whether your domain is now blocked in akismet. Even if someone has auto approve, akistmet can still block you.

I'm blasting comments to a Squidoo Lens and a Weebly site.

No surprises here. Most of the blogs are moderated, so unless you have a list of blogs with auto-approved comments, right after a blast, you will experience low ratios of actually posted comments.

I though that, but 0.3%? Isn't that too low?

Whats happening is that you don't understand how blog commenting works. I don't mean that in a condecening way, but what I do mean is this.

you need to open a web browser and manually comment on some of those pages and see how it works. Then you need to realize sbox is just automating that process, its not magic and it won't magically get you links.

When you comment on a blog most of the time the comment goes to moderation. When you comment the blog often says "thanks, your comment is recieved and is waiting approval by a moderator." When it says that sbox says its successful. Succesful just means that it was successfully submitted to the blog, what happens from there depends on whether or not the admin approves it.

The 40 you got were simply auto approve blogs, but these are the exception rather then the rule.

Spend some time manually doing what sbox does, then let it do it on the same blogs and you will better understand how it works.

    Good luck!

Did you actually make Scrapebox check if the links are live? I use that Scrapebox feature after every blast. Usually 20% of my comments do appear online right after the blast. 10000 comments give me about 2000 successful comments and a few hundred backlinks in Yahoo Explorer.

Thank you for your answer, but actually I do understand what Scrapebox does.
But Akismet comes disabled by default, comments do not need to be review by default and I thought that in 15k URLs, atleast 10% would have the default settings.

    However, thank you once again.

You should export the list of failed urls and run it again. Do this several times.
