Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi, who has terminal cancer, has been given compassionate early release, Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill has confirmed.

Al-Megrahi, 57, was convicted in 2001 of the murder of all 259 people on board a Pan Am Boeing 747 and 11 killed on the ground when the aircraft exploded in mid-air above the Scottish town of Lockerbie.

This guy was sentenced to a minimum of 27 years
1 year for every 10 people he killed

Less than 10years later he's released to 'go home and die'.

There will be kick offs over this
