"Participants were outfitted with commercial-grade brain-wave reading devices and shown a list of people, possible PIN numbers, and the likely location of their home. Often, when the researchers stumbled upon the actual information they were seeking, they saw an expected spike in brain-wave P300, which is known to activate when presented with familiar information. Researchers could guess the correct answer for participants? first PIN number 20% of the time, the regional location of their home 30%, birth month 60%, and the bank branch of their ATM 30%."

Thats why pin numbers need to go, there is less then 10,000 different pin number combinations ones like 0000,1234 are not usually allowed. Banks should replaces pin numbers with a minimum of 6 characters inlcluding Capital, lowercase, numbers and special characters that are above the 1-0 buttons. At 6 characters long in length this would provide 164,206,490,176 different combinations minus the obvious ones they wouldn't allow, like 123abc etc.

You're right. Ever notice how some resources online allow this but commercial ones often don't. Photobucket does. I can use Vgg@sueUye*93vEq:; as a password on Photobucket.

Nice post Tensegrity. The Mind is the final frontier. The sound-vision-thought cloud software system.

Dunno why I let this thread die!

I see this stuff as ultra transhumanist -- the mix of [para]psychology with algorithmically enhanced readers has always fascinated me, like the cold war Russian tests with microwaves and inducing behavior. Goes along with that crazy thread about the brainwashing a little while back, silent!
