back in my highschool days the kids from school groups (band, art, theater, etc) would be supplied a box of random candy (snickers, reeses, etc etc) to sell to raise funds for whatever they were in.
Its fairly easy to get a box from one of them after they run out, just ask nicely and normally they would give one up.
go to the store, pack it full of candy bought @ bulk, sell at the same price (or a quarter cheeper, whatever) as the vending machines, and suddenly everyones interested.
quick way to make some fast cash if your in school/college. in highschool i could easily make 50 bucks a day doing this throughout the day.
my way of thinking is school is something you go to in order to learn how to make cash in the future, why not speed up the process.
originally did this in middleschool 6th grade (10 years ago or so?) during a "party day". I brought in some "party size" recess penut butter cups, wound up with a messload leftover. the bag cost me like 2 bucks or so, sold the leftover throughout the day for a quarter each, easly made 20 bucks, wound up remembering that and doing it a bit in my highschool days, worked wonders. 30 - 50 bucks a day is alot when your 17.
