    Hi!
so, I recently created very successful scholarship campaign for my website. I reached out to around 2000 EDU sites with my scholarship page and I got tons of EDU backlinks to my site, and all of them were over 40+ DA !
Organic search traffic was tripled within 3monthss. (no other link building or any other SEO, just scholarship)
It took me long time and effort and money to understand how to do that efficiently. I've spent around $700 worth freelancers to generate that list. (collect 2000 urls and names and emails of universities that have a scholarship pages).
I will also spend $1000 to give the scholarship to the winner...
So yup, it's an expensive business...but in the end, I made much more from my website in the long run and my ranking DA increased to 56 from 45 in just 4 monthes.. so :)

This is how it looks like:

Anyway. I have only one site and I'm not an SEO freelancer. But I sold that list to few people in few hundred dollars.
I was thinking to create a mini funnel to try and sell this list and send facebook ads to it. you know,
to create a freebie of 50 adresses like that (as a squeeze page), and then offer them the full 2000 list. and as a bonus I can also give them the exact email I used to email this universities to get 30% response rate

I need your opinion. Is there even a "EDU scholarship link building" market I can reach to with my offer? Is this even worth something valuable? How much do you guys this list is worth?
    Thank you!!

while the list is still moderately valuable, the real value is actually executing the plan and getting the links
I'm thinking you could make the most by obtaining the links for the client and getting paid $X per link
but if you aren't interested in that then I'd still go for selling the list and maybe create an offer on jvzoo so that affiliates can go wild with it

You can try to sell it as a service instead, like scholarship links campaign. People are lazy and don't always want to pay and also do the work.

Not as bad as the scholarship I saw on a dick pump affiliate site

Also, I would consider buying this list, what are you thinking of charging?

I do agree with the other members of this thread, that you could turn this into a service.

I think this is something that would decrease in value the more people do it. So if you sell that list to 100 people, very quickly the finaid people would get all this spam and figure out what is going on and stop accepting any of such requests, and the list would become worthless.

I think it is probably a better idea to just sell it as a service (it would probably be a pricey service though, since whoever buys it has to be willing to fork over 1k for prize money, and more for your fees).

If you are interested to sell it as a service hit me up, if it's good I'll write you a review when you launch it ;)

From 2000 sites, how many links did you receive?

How exactly do you award the scholarship? Is it a yearly thing or..?

Giving out the list will prevent you from making future sells as it could be easily shared. You should consider helping people get a link. It will be the cost of the actual scholarship + your fee. That way you can continue with sell for long time

IMO just get the links for your clients, that is a better option and you can also start a long term business deal with these universities, you know the possibilities are endless.

I've deleted a post where the person offered to buy the list... that is a no-no as this is not a sales thread.

Don't offer to buy the list or you'll be disappointed in the reaction from the staff.

Wow that's kinda harsh. 2000 scholarship apps and only 227 gave you links? Like wtf.

I've been doing my own drive. The universities I've worked with have been suspicious because:

    A) scholarship scams
    B) receiving high volume of scholarship requests

The second that list gets out and is spammed it's worthless. You lose your work.

Maintain it for clients and charge top $$$.

    This.

Keep it for yourself. The minute you leak it all of your hard work will be for nothing as they will be too suspicious and google may even start to devalue/penalise

What do you think the number should be?

I'm running a regional scholarship (9 states) and I don't think I will get more than half my targets to sign up - and that's with me calling in and chatting. If his scholarship is a $1000 open to any student in the US, then I think receiving 11% back is a good deal - especially if he only emailed prospects and never picked up the phone.

@OP There's some other guy on here selling 12 edu scholarship links for $300. That gives you an idea of what your list is worth.
