  • Helen Cahill mistakenly logged into a fake Bendigo Bank website and had $30,000 stolen
  • There have been more than 35,000 reported attempts to gain the personal information of Australians since January
  • Scam victims are encouraged not to be embarrassed and to report it quickly

This pisses me off and will do little for bh marketing / commercial purposes except make Ad strategies more difficult to implement when they start cracking down one security. Highly recommend not to support such thing.

How is the bank not having additional verifications before withdraw. Like if someone logins to online banking in my country, he cannot withdraw without SMS verification.

That’s 2FA . Most major commercial enforce their customers to have that implemented. Can say for AU

Wondering also without my phone nobody can steal $$

This is old and will happen again many many times because Google is greedy as hell.
