I completed some work for a customer increasing their friends by 1000. 10 days later they claim I didnt do the work and that some other person did this for them explaining how their friend count increased. This is a lie. They now demand a refund.

How would you guys deal with this? Im so tired of scammers.. Ffs

If there were any agreements, contracts, or terms of service: collect evidence that you followed the rules and completed the work as described and simply refuse to refund your customer. Tell your customer that you would be able to refund him if you were able to remove the friends, and if you can remove the friends that were added, refund and never do business with that person again.

So, really, you can choose to either just say no with the possibility of escalating the issue (because you have evidence) to higher authorities yourself; explain why you can't give a refund (if you can, go ahead and refund and remove the work you completed); or you can just give a refund. Or you can just ignore him.

Thanks. I opted to explain that I had completed the work and that I could remove the friends if they want me to.

So I had my first negative feedback on one of my seo ebay accounts. Lol. Checked her feedback and she has like 15 negative over last year. I guess the lack of reply is because she is concerned I could take her fake friends away again. Little does she know Id need her login for that.Oh well there are always a few scammers out there..so beware! Backing down is for wimps.

Well, you made the job and now he says that it was another person..., sounds weird. If he got contact with you, first, without mentioning any other person, how come, he is telling you that it's another person's job?

If you have some kind of documentation: email, chat history or something, you can show him the conversation you had, and see if he mentioned some other person there.

Otherwise, it's you that made the job and end of story.

Don't let him fool you with this kind of bs.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

I was happy to take the negative feedback on ebay account rather than back down to these scammers. These guys really grind my gears.

Never let the scammers wear you down people.
