"Rainbow Agency" tried today to steal all my videos on YouTube! My channel is all whitehat and all original content!!!!!

I know a lot of people here put hard work on their channel and use adsense so I want to warn you

They claimed rights on all my videos trying to steal money from me

Please stay cautious with these people, already seen other people complain about them

I think they are from egypt and they have some strange webpage that don't explain what they exactly do, but its clear they go around claiming copyright on peoples to scare them so if u ever get your channel attacked by them please claim your rights and fight back by filing disputes, fight for your videos! they will retire their claims if you fight back!

Please someone contact a lawyer lets make those bastards pay!!!!! I can't stand people like this!

What exactly is a lawyer from another country going to do ? Different place, different rules.

Agreed though that just countering their claims is the way to go. You obviously have a mark of a successful channel.

When this happened to me I offered them (unfortunately) a cash settlement to release the claim as the loss of revenue during the dispute phase would have been greater. They were greedy and stupid and in the end got nothing (and I was out 3 weeks of revenue).

There is this "company" Merlin KVZ Digital in my country which tries to steal all the videos from my region. They are actually total fakers and have rights to nothing. They claimed several of my videos recorded in my room, where i just speak....

UGH this makes me mad. I have another youtuber stealing my videos as well and youtube has even asked for proof that I own the videos over them. You'd think the fact that I uploaded most of these vids 1 month - a year ahead of them would be enough proof. I even said "Welcome to (My channel name)." on one of the videos and that still wasnt enough proof

Exactly, I did all the videos myself, they are cartoons and I use my damn voice.
You put hard work into something, reach success and people like this claim it as their own, unbelievable!!!

And the worst part is: they took money away from me for an entire day while I solved all the disputes on all of my 50 or so videos

And they are still free around claiming on other people's videos like nothing happened

I hope all the people doing this get stopped from ever using Youtube again!

What damn proof you need. I did my cartoons, I use my voice and I use copyright free music from youtube libraries

It's THEY that have to prove thay they own my videos which is insane to even think about it thats why they left like cowards when I claimed back my videos, they will never take u to court cause they know they don't own the videos, they just want to scare people and with this im just warning everyone in here and making that when people browse "rainbow agency" they will see threads like this and don't get scared fight back those bastards!

The trick is clear. A third party makes a copyright complaint on your videos. YT gives you 10 days to respond and if you don´t reply the video will stay there but the adsense earnings will go to them.

I guess their "business" mainly comes from abandon channels , where owners don´t concern someone is trying to steal their income. Yt should manually review any copyright complaint. For sure these shady companies must be making good money from this, otherwise they wouldn´t do it.

An 100% unethical method ? LOL this goes beyond any blackhat technique. This is like stealing money directly from someone´s pocket.

Even for someone who does not mind to try this, I guess you have to be an established registered company with some proofs to make complaints in bulk. Maybe what these companies do is registering on YT, staying a few months under the radar and then start sending bulk requests. This can´t be done by an individual person.
