My partner wired him $7000 on Nov 29th for 1200 cl ads a day for 6 days. We paid upfront and I haven't heard from him since.

I found him here on BHW and he had a thread with good rep. I figured he was legit but I wanted to speak to him and a client of his. I spoke to one "client" of his although it was probably a friend of his.

I'm not really mad about the $7k, but more so that I relied on his posting services and I basically put my own stuff on hold. I spoke to Hexalor and he gave me permission to ShitList.

I know this a rather short shitlist but I do have full logs, bank details, etc. I don't want to post them publicly though.

Avoid this guy like the plague, he is bad news all around.

7k up front is not a stupid move. There are serious businesses and there are scammers. It's not his fault that he got caught up with the wrong people. What goes around comes around. He'll make XXX times that and the guy who scammed him will be screwed.

Not really, $7k is a decent chunk of change. Nothing to scoff at. I lost many times more than that delaying my own stuff and counting on him. Wasted a week and a half basically.

magcshroom, is a baller, $7k is pocket change.

It's about the principle, and how Joshua Stephens is a scammer. Let's just keep mentioning his full name some more so this thread gets indexed for his name. ;)

7k upfront was a bad idea. I always ask for 10 ads, then 30, then 50, THEN 100 a day when I used to hire CL posters.

I think you should do your own posting. I use CLADGenius. With 7k you could've bought CLAD, 1k pvas, and you would be set (if yo had dsl). AND THAT would've only been about 5k, not 7k, lol.

    Sorry to hear that though.

Pocket change or not, I am still on a plane to kick his ass. That's a year at a lot of colleges for my daughter. Let's put it into perspective.

Bro, you're a smart and ballin' guy, but paying $7k upfront, especially on BHW/online, isn't the best thing to do, regardess of how credible a person may seem. If you have his personal information, attempt to contact him, it's worth your time to chase after $7k, it's a good chunk of change.

    :)

Well i just checked out and he only have 10 reputation points which are given to everyone! He have been Thanked 14 Times in 12 Posts. And have got only 2 iTraders! The only thing is that he is a Donor and giving donation doesn't mean that you are an honest person. Even i have got better reputation points, thanks and iTraders than him. And first of all i would never take a job which i can't do and will never scam anyone!
    See his profile -

And one more thing is that he only have 118 posts.

Nah, I would be like Keyser Soze. Dude wouldn't know what hit him. I would be back in bed in time to kiss my wife, and feed my kids breakfast.

Shroom didn't make a stupid choice because he thought with the amount of rep that elitepostings had, it was already a "Trusted Member". And to be honest, I buy services from some people that seem to be trusted and have a good rep, but in the end, I get scammed. You live and learn in this life. This is great that shroom posted this, so now in the future we know not to trust elitepostings :).
