Seriously, can't understand how 2 members, one from 2011 and the other from 2012 could fall for such an obvious scam.
That's the part that got me. OP said:
"ive been around BHW for years, not a bigshot and have never really made much money in IM."
If you have been here for years, what exactly have you been doing all this time if you haven't been making money? It seems impossible to be here for years and not have learned how to turn water into wine.
Why do you need my account to sell your products? What's wrong with yours?
This is the same thing I think when people want to rent your Facebook ad account. I place FB ads for people all the time, but I do not give them access to my FB. I review their ads first to make sure it's not spam, then go into my FB account and post the ad for them.
When they bring up things like:
"Let's use team viewer so we can share screen"
"I want to use my own (probably stolen) credit card on the account"
"All that will happen is your ad account will get banned"
I pass on those. They just want to post the same weight loss ad on your account that has already been banned on the last 15 accounts they used. Once they are done trashing your long standing FB account, they will be off to find a new person's account to burn through.
I know scammers think honesty is too much work, but sometimes I wonder how lying and finding victims isn't as hard as telling the truth and findinf clients.
I've always said it takes the same amount of time to scam as it does to be legit. So you may as well be honest so you don't have to spend extra time watching your back.
