Scambook Post Removal

Hello people,
I have been doing a lot of ORM work for one company and this scambook complaint keeps coming to the first page. I have even tried to sign up to scambook.com and try to contact the person who wrote it but scambook seems pretty much dead - their payments processor is not working, blog is dead, etc.

Do you have any ideas about what can be done? I can even pay if someone could help. It's really a pain in the a... for me.

Hey Simas, sounds like you need to suppress scambook. There are legal ways to have it removed if it falls under a certain type of criteria. Removals about a business are pretty unlikely. That assumes the client is US based, not sure about Austrian law.

If you're looking to suppress the negative, there are a lot of helpful threads in this ORM section, give us some more info and someone can surely get you started down the right path.

1. What have you done so far?
2. Do you have a rank tracker showing the historical movement?
3. What positives are below and above the negative currently?

From what I saw, everything besides the Scambook and a Complaints Board post are all social media profiles and such through page two. Scambook is #1 and Complaints Board is #6, though. If it's cool with OP, let me know and I'll shoot the link over to BHopkins for further analysis. Thanks.

Hey Simas (thanks upperminds!), from what I see, I agree with upperminds, lots of social media and web 2.0's but it's lacking any type of quality content.

I would do about 20 posts on my PBN with very light link building back to them. I would set up a few domains and have one of my guys spend time on the web 2.0's and social media properties ranking on the first 3 pages. I would start interlinking a few of them and make sure they have content/followers/etc.

A few guest posts/sponsored posts would help as well.

14,400 exact matches, many of which are you web 2.0's, social media and backlinks so I would imagine it would be pretty quick and easy.

Scambook won't answer you - I haven't heard of anyone getting an answer in the last 6 months.

From my limited experience with taking the legal route, scambook seems to be one of the easier ones to get removed. There are a lot of internet defamation attorneys that might be able to help.

Normally yes, but they don't respond to legal inquiries anymore either. The owner probably disappeared and the site is hanging in limbo until the prepaid hosting drops off.
