Before I go into to much detail I want to say this:

I have no definitive proof that this person is actually trying to scam you. I, however, have been on the internet most of my life. I've been scammed a few times and I used to help people avoid being scammed on the internet.

Whether you also think they're a scam is up to you. Please proceed with caution as they're trying to recruit a lot of people.

The scam is from this BHW thread posted by this user.

Based on the thread itself there are some major red flags:
    • No experience needed
    • They're looking to hire for every skill set on the forum

I emailed them and got a pretty standard response. They claim to have been around since 2015 but all of their social accounts only go back this month. I told them I can do SEO for their website at $25/hour in which they don't even have a website yet are on board with hiring me.

If you Google their FB name "BabylonGaming16" you find a couple of threads just for hiring people.

They also messaged a ton of mods on BHW asking to close their thread saying that they no longer need people. Well, I got an email from them a couple hours ago (3 hours after they messaged all the mods) asking me to spread the word because they still need to hire a ton of people.

In my experience, they don't want people mentioning on their thread that they're a scam. I looked back at their FB page today and someone else commented that they're a scam as well and that their game did something to their computer.

Please be careful as I saw a couple people here reply to their thread. No legit game company would let you have access to a game that's still in such a small development phase (as they claim) without signing an NDA and they wouldn't hire anyone no matter their experience level.

I had already reported him 11 hours ago and I was the member who said he was spamming in his thread.

He's posted roughly the same thing on BTC, Indeed, and Reddit as well. I noticed he blocked me from viewing his profile a minute after his short rebuttal (like that's going to stop me from viewing his profile).

Regardless, report him with the info you have and I'm sure the moderators will make the right decision.
