Right now, I'm paying $12/month for 10 proxies with 5/proxy running on FollowLiker.

Looking to basically do that times 10. Probably want to keep it separate, like 10 instances of FL each with thier own search terms, and some differences in how run so if one gets banned, others unaffected.

    Open to suggestions, though.

Do I just need 100 proxies? Should I be running VPN? Will I need a number of vps since my old pc seems maxed running the 50 accts I have currently?

Not looking to buy 100 proxies right now since acct creation takes some time (making them look good too, and hand-writing bios, etc). Ready for next 50 accts to go live, though, and maybe another 50 per week... and add 10 proxies at each step.

I keep seeing LimeProxy ad that says 100 private proxies for $30/mo, but that's not even close to what site says when I click through. Any real deals here or other gameplan for moving forward?... or just keep incrementally stepping up what Im already doing?

i'll also soon be at the point of scaling 10x so 100+ proxies needed. I'd get a VPS, you'll probably need a decent connection once you've got 500+ accounts running.

Yeah, I'll have to step up to a sturdy vps since my machine can't hack that... but what exactly are the benefits or drawbacks of running a vpn?

Anyone know of a HUGE discount for running 100 proxies? Don't wanna be spending anywhere near 100/mo unless absolutely necessary.

For me personally the benefits of a vps (not vpn, not sure you meant vpn) is its much cheaper on the electric, runs 24/7 no interruptions from reboots etc, blazing 100mb/1000mb connection.

Depends. I've been trying out some different settings, bios, etc.

Overall, probably averaging about 35-40/day/account when all is running smoothly. I've had more down time than I'd like due to some software issues, but now that it's all running more or less smoothly, I'm sure I could probably bump that number up, but that is with zero original tweets. Will be making and pinning original content soon.

Hoping with a decent pinned tweet and some better looking content in the top few tweets... and a more consistently aggressive rate of targeting followers... that I can get that up to around 50/day/acct.

Never used a vps and a LOT of other expenses right now, so really trying to minimize cost.

I'm already running a dual core 2.5 GHZ machine at home with 3Gb of ram.

Do I need to step way up to something much beefier, or cheap way to inch up since I'm adding maybe 50 accts per 10 days or so and want to keep them segmented in batches of 50 (which means if I keep using FL, I'll need to be running at LEAST one instance per 50 accts... probably two instances per 50 accts.)

Ya that;s correct, as most others have said, you'll just need more proxies. Be sure to have a beefed up rig to handle it all. If you're interested, I would potentially be willing to pay you for retweet access to all of those accounts (using tweetdeck). This could easily cover all your proxy costs.

I doubt you'd like the limited scope of the accts. Now that they are "seasoned" (a few thousand tweets each), they are severely restricted to a few highly relevant tweets per day very narrowly focused on my particular music niche.

Not really interested in breaking that model in any significant way.

I'm sure I could get more followers by going broader, but I'm pushing the envelope on focus instead.

Why don't you buy proxies as you scale up, e.g. make 10 accounts and buy proxies for them and so on..if you don't have money to burn maybe this would help you.

Yeah, that's pretty much the default plan.... and what I'm in the process of doing already.

Just trying to see if there are economies of scale to be had doing it any other way.

I've got 130 or so accts created (pics, bios, verified email, starting set of followers, etc), and about ready to flip the switch on second set of 50 going live to start following competition's followers. Trying two new companies for the new proxies, but trying to look toward future expansion to lock in best deal.

Not keen on running a bunch of FL instances, so I'd really love to learn of a better option for mass accts. I don't really want 500 accts doing the exact same thing. Much prefer segmenting in groups so if one group goes down, I know exactly what to replace and where it went wrong.

Mainly too, though, wanting a better option for many proxies. What's the deal with the ad for 100 private proxies for $30 that kept popping up as an ad for Lime proxies? No such deal on thier site. Anyone got some kind of bulk discount like this?
