SBI debit card problem... am totally pissed! Help please!

    Hey everyone howz everything going...

    So since last week my SBI debit card is suddenly refusing all the transactions and after a few days I found that its rejecting all the international trxns and works fine for local sites.

    All I want to do is add money to my entropay account so I can funds my campaigns.

    I asked entropay, they said its your bank which is declining the transactions. I went to bank the guy checked if there was any problem with my card, all is fine he said I showed him the error messages I got everytime I do transaction he said I don't know anything/handled anything like this before so he advised me to ask the branch manager, and the branch manager was being an ass and said this seems tech problem you should contact tech team which is in Mumbai.

    well i've visited 4 times but the bank seems to know jackshit about all this and all my campaigns are fucking paused :/

    Anyone has come across this before?

    btw everytime I get a different error msg on my ph when I try a trx for eg
    "The trx failed because of wrong PIN.."
    "Authenticaltion problem.."
    "Not enough balance in your account.."
    "... exceeds your daily withdrawl limit.."

    None is true^^ I don't know whats going on with my account...

    I really would like to have a solution to this, maybe there is another site like entropay which works with debit cards?

    I got the same issue with OBC bank. You just need to send email to their head office with strong words (Give them warning that you will report this to RBI). I am sure they will fix it with in few days. :)

    Just send a strong worded e-mail to the SBI tech Dept and also the head office in India. This usually elicits a response within 24 hours. As an added form of pressure, give a call to the helpline as well and inform them about the email and your problems. Let them also follow up on the issue on their own behalf. If 48 hours pass and you don't get even a confirmation message from them about acknowledging your problem and fixing it, send an e-mail to the RBI help.
    This 3 pronged approach has always helped me to tackle the bank issues in a jiffy.

    I had a similar problem using ICICI bank debit card also.

    Brother better move to ICICI or AXIS, they have a better service and more option for international transactions :)

    Is it possible to make transactions with Indian based bank debit cards? is the 1st thing we have to check, cos we can't make most of the international transactions using out debit cards.

    Has anyone from India with Indian based based bank debit cards done such a transaction, like adding funds to entropay or something like that?

    If yes, please help with the procedures.

    Yeah man, I've been adding funds to entropay via indian debit cards since a year withouht any hassles until this one.
    So yes ANY debit card works for entropay as they use 3D secure(RBI instructed system) to do payments.

    There is no procedure as such, just add a debit card to your entropay account >> add funds >> your new VCC is ready to rock the bases.

    Forget SBI! Sucks to core! Better get an account in HDFC (what i did) and use their 'netsafe' for creating VCC/making payments online!

    I found a complaint link where I just logged my issue https://prepaid.onlinesbi.com/CMS/

    also I called the customer support and they said you need to contact your home branch which I told already fucking did 4-5 times and they said we can't help you online in this matter.

    The thing is like I go to bank they say call online dep and when I do the same the online dep says go to branch, running around in a circle...

    Fuck SBI(and RBI too)...

    I m also facing same issue from last 4-5 days :( I also tried to add funds to my entropay vcc using my sbi debit card but it's not working :angryfire

    Call their helpline also use the complain form I linked above. If this solves then let me know what department you called.

    I have some suggestions buddy check your peak limit of the card per day

    Email your card no or account no. with problem to ibanking (at) s b i

    use this email id this is Internet tech support team they will respond you positively.

    Use ICICI bank, you dont even have to use entropay.

    Fuck this bank. Never use it for your IM business, neither is their support staff trained nor does the branch.

    Instead a normal ICICI employee knows about Paypal and other such sites. So, go with these.

    emailed the customer care and rbi too but both the emails failed to deliver for some reason lol wtf?

    I don't think its the problem of peak limit, I've done few bigger trxs in a day smoothly..



    Also here is a new problem, I tried to add funds via Online wire transfer but they said my PAN card no. is wrong...

    Now I think there is some problem with my account itself.

    OK I am done with SBI, I had a ICICI bank a/c which I closed some months back and will just re-open it.
