SB- if the page is indexed does it means your link is indexed?

    The pages must already be indexed before we've even blasted them.

    So does that means that being indexed doesn't necessarily mean your link has been counted yet?

    Does pinging aid in them being counted?

    No, just because the page is indexed does not mean your link is indexed. To check if your link is indexed, search for the page (where your link is) in G and open the G cache link and check the page for your link. Then maybe your link has been counted by G.

    Pinging the pages does help notify the search engines that they need to check the page for new content and can help get your links indexed faster.
