    Hi all,
    Hope everyone is doing fine.
I've been using SB for about a month now and never had any problem with it. But since the last couple of days, this bad boy is behavin' weird :D

It shows "error 404" all the time with almost all SB modules whether it be "link checker", "link extractor" or "Outbound link checker"...

Other modules such as Comment poster, harvester, PR checker are working just fine.

I don't know if there is a problem with my PC, internet connection or what?

I ain't a geek that is why I'm posting it here to seek help from those who know much about all this :)

Note: the problem exists even when I use:
    Public proxies
    Private proxies
    No proxies...

I tried to sort this out by adjusting timeout and max. connection settings but to no avail :(

    Any clues??? :p

    Bk...

I always face the same problem if the list is big. Try to split the list.

I got this for the first time today, never seen it before. EVERYTHING was just 404. Using hundreds of different proxies, adjusting settings. Never seen it before. Hope it is just temporary.

    Hi,

bloganalyzer crashes during a scan of 50k 100k 250k 500k lists.I rescanned few times public proxies , but the analyzer crashed again.
I´m currently running a 300k list and it stops 2 times on the middle of the list.Is it a public proxy problem?

Hmm, it may be this. I was running multiple instances at the time. I have just never seen it before. I was running on 1 license just fine, but other the other license, it was just 404ing every task. But the 404ing license was running many instances.

its running smooth.i got no probs.
Did you check your connection settings?

add this modules to your firewall and let they connect.

this is not a module. This is scrapebox itself. Modules are all .sb files and
if i open one , let it be the blog analyzer, my firewall asks to open or block this.

    edit:maybe this will help

Thanks for the reply. Connection settings are just fine i.e. 20. I've played with that but to no avail.
Just a little question, how do you open .sb files??? :)

I have been having a similar problem. I have two licenses for SB. The first I had been running for several months on a medium power PC (always only one instance). It always runs fine.

I have another license that I was running on an older PC. Most of the time it would work ok, but I would have to scale back the number of threads/connections/etc to get it to work. However, a couple processes (testing proxies was one) would always get excessive 404's (timeouts). I just wrote it off as the slow PC.

I have since purchased a FAST PC (quad processor, 8GB RAM). I moved my SB license and started running stuff expecting everything to be better. Guess what? It was the same.

I ran the same process (check proxies) on this new PC and the PC with my first license installed on it. This PC has over two times the processing power as the other one and the internet connection is faster. The original PC would beat it every time (and come out with 2-3 times more valid proxies).

Since I knew it wasn't the PC now and the internet connection was fine, it had to be something else.

I was running through a wireless router in my house (the original PC is on another network - not this router). So I connected my PC directly to my cable modem and eliminated the router. The problem went away!!!! BTW, while the router was wireless, it did not matter if I was connected wireless or plugged directly into one of the ports, I still had the same problem.

I emailed SB support when I was having problems and told them that I suspected possible hardware problems. They confirmed that some cheap routers can cause this type of problems.

Just this morning I bought a new router. I hope this fixes my problem.

The bottom line is that you may want to check your hardware too. It may not be SB.

Thanks for that detailed reply, much appreciated :)

Well, I'm on cable modem which has been working great for two months with SB. I never had problems but now it has been about a week since this issue aroused. So I suppose hardware is okay. I'll check with some other router/modem though :)

I have been looking into it and it seems that since I updated SB to 1.15.6, it started giving issues. Before that, it was fine.
I have to install some other version and will let you guys know how it goes?

I get a few timeouts and some 404's. Most of my 404's are within reason though. I've tried to manually load the links and they fail 95% of the time.

Everything is fine for me. When I have a problem it is usually something in my setups.
