In the spirit of bfellow's thread where he conducted a case study directly blasting the dog shit out of a brand new site with much success. I decided to do a very very modest blast to my money site. However, the caveat is that my site has no content as of yet(waiting for my articles). Just a custom built header and nothing else. How will this impact me, if any?
IMHO, if your domain is not brand new, even you don't have much contents in it, you can still blast it a little bit, but not too much... My friend is building a dating website, the site will be complete in the next few months, I suggested him to get an old domain if he can find anything, in this case, he can start building some backlinks before the site is fully up and running... Just my thought.
I always prefer to have my onsite SEO in place before getting a page indexed. I would only do the method you describe, if there is going more than 1 month before you get your content.
better wait for your content because once you start to build links google starts to index you very fast, so no content - no SERP
A nonconformist way to do it if you ask me but if you hope for better results than by using the classical method, then go your way, an keep us updated. And want to mention that if your money site is very important to you, play safe, otherwise do your tests.
