what a gig.I had perfect seats for the sound right at the back centre of the hall.Jeff played a cracker.I actually teared up at a couple of points. He's got a gorgeous young girl playing bass for him--she was very good.Call her Tal Wilkenfeld apparently

they played a good few numbers from his first couple albums,Blow by Blow and Wired which I was hoping for.Ended a tiny bit disappointingly with him doing Mission Impossible theme song.Just didn't do it for me.Following 2 pics not taken by me

Ulster Hall is where Led Zeppelin first performed Stairway to Heaven live all those years ago.I wasn't there that night but I was there for one of the nights that's commemorated on a poster in the corridors.Alice in Chains in 93.One of the best gigs I've ever seen.

Yeah . . . Jeff is cool. I saw him a few years ago with a female lead guitarist named Jennifer Batten. Man can she shred!

    Cheers! -

Saw Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer open up for Starship in the Long Island Coliseum, they totally rocked and blew me away...this is the 70's. Jeff was amazing and Jan rocked. This was the Wired tour. Starship was promoting Red Octopus. Long live Jeff Beck!
