Sandboxing your way to the #1 Spot on the big G

What about backlinking BEFORE your website is indexed and ranked? By the time you get indexed (I know you guys can do it in a day or so) and the backlinks start to get indexed then you will have hit the ground running ?? Or is it a waste of energy throwing backlinks before the site is live?

you know.. i second this. what if you backlinked it, before you even hosted it or even bought it ?

Not a bad idea...what I IMAGINE would happen would be the same thing as when you buy an expired domain...all previous links/link juice/authority are "nulled" and you start at ground zero.

I would think the same would happen in this instance...but I've never tried it so I don't know. I guess it's worth a try.

Being in the same service, I have seen lots of websites getting sandboxed and they come to me looking for quickfix solution. Most of the time, they get sandboxed with xrumer (they never think twice getting a 100's of thousands blast at a time).

I heard a theory of keep building backlinks in the sandbox period and I tried to couple of websites and no wonder, it really works.

In one of my client website, which was just a month old, we build 1200+ backlinks and it was at #1 for a fairly competitive term. overnight, it got pushed to 400+ from #1... I continued building backlinks but at a very slow pace (10 a day kind of) and its only a month and they are back to #1 for 3 of the keywords, they were targeting for. However I doubt if this is the effect of slow backlinking continuation, why because now its shows only 700+ backlinks, which was earlier 1300+ and still ranking at #1 for all 3 targeted keywords. Also I am not sure if it got really sandboxed or it was just a G dance. Because I have seen sandbox period remains anywhere between 3-12 months and its just little more than a month....

I noticed you guys only talked about 1 month old domains or less. What about a site that is 10 months or 1 year old? Would it have the same problem as this?

What we now that is everytime that you spam links to a new site,There is a possibilite of they enter in a google dance.

But this site will not stay in the google dance,they will be back in the same position or in better positions.

I already tested this with 3 sites of mine: I did 10k of links to all of then in 1-3 days,they all went to google dance and back after 10 days with better positions.

This absolutely dont make any sense,just think if a link can harm anysite,With all the persons with xrumer and scrapebox,we would already discovered that.

If you still are tryng to say no ok,just type: Sex in google and see the amount of links that the site that has 2k,received in just one month.

I was start experimented this from last week. But I am building links manually to see, whether its getting sandboxed.

I purchased a new domain related to money making niche and started building 100 links per day. (High Authority profiles) .So far my site and pages got indexed. But still not in the first 1000. Will post when I see the result.

Hi,

I'm experimenting on low competition sites. One site in particular is sandboxed, the funny thing is I did not do any drastic Backlinking. I have put 14 BL on the main and 12 is deeplinking. It is one month old and has autogenerated content.

Anyone care to check the site? PM me and I will give you the site and keyword. This is just a test blog and I don't really care if it is sandboxed but I would like to know the certain info WHY is it so we can all gain valuable info.

to be honest. im not sure, i have heard some people getting out of it in a a few days, and then i have heard it takes months. but then again, this is an experiment to see if the sandbox even exist

Are you 100% sure that sandboxing happens just to new domains or maybe even if you have a site indexed for 1-2 years with a few backlinks and an unnatural backlinking procedure starts?

Otherwise it would be more clever to buy aged projects indexed with some backlinks and to start heavy backlinking with xRumer - or could also that kind of unnatural backlinking cause the sandboxing effect?

Thanks for this post. I get annoyed with all the posts saying "the sandbox doesn't exist". Those people need a slap in the face.

As far as the sandbox goes. It seems like that guide you are referring to does help some. However, you are still at the whim of Google and you can hit the sand box again fairly quickly.

Sandboxing happens to check to see if your site is searched for and if it's worth anything.

Look at viral sites, they get a load of backlinks in a short amount of time. People will be searching for it and going to it from the backlinks.
The same thing goes for blasts, they need to happen quickly and continuously for the site to stick.

The problem with this is that it's easier for the competition to knock you down. Essentially, your site is like a bandaid on a wound, if it's scratched, it will bleed...so to speak.

Only sites of real value that is actually useful will continue to grow naturally thereafter. IE, becoming an authority site.

I am bringing up a new WH site right now. I have lots of #1's in g00gle and have a lot of experience but I have never backlinked heavily. I have scrapebox and am playing with it but I do not go for the shotgun approach.

Website came online 2 days ago. G00gle visited website 21 times since yesterday, I don't know why 21 times but whatever.

I have had sites disappear (sandbox-like) and re-appear and some make it straight through just fine. I am leaning towards thinking "if the search engines have to figure out where to place my website I need to revisit my onpage SEO".

But again, I have never backlinked heavily...my heavy traffic site only shows 215 links in Yahoo and I am kicking butt. Why? Content.

Still tho, I feel the dark side calling me...

I'd be weary of this method just because there's probably a fine line between getting seriously sandboxed and actually getting de-indexed.
