Last week, I created new site maps for my sites; they were very thorough, went through the autoblogs, thousands of pages. I have all my sites cross linked, and did the site maps to make sure all those links were indexed. Apparently it backfired

"We've detected that some of your site's pages may be using techniques that are outside Google's Webmaster Guidelines. Specifically, look for possibly artificial or unnatural links on your site pointing to other sites that could be intended to manipulate PageRank. "

Fortunately, it is my least important money site. I deleted the site maps from the other sites, and reduced the number of autolinks on the autoblogs. (from 5 per page to 2) I guess now, I should re-do the site maps. Any advice? Wisdom? :06:

I don't know what caused it, but I will give you some advice on how long it takes to get reindexed. One of my sites was completely deindexed. It took about 1.5 months and then finally my site was reindexed. So make some changes then make sure you wait quite some time to see if those changes fixed it.

I guess I'll thin out the posts, and point some of the autolinks to my ezine articles. I guess I'm glad it happened to this site rather than one of the others, it gives me the opportunity to correct it before the sh*t hits the fan on the real $$$ sites.

Another positive, at least with mine, is when it did bounce back and get re-indexed. I still had the same PR as before.
