Any advice is desparatelyly needed -
A pet project site of mine mobilehotspot (dot) com seems to completely toxic to google. I have been building links for 6 months, in my estimations about 400 total "quality" links from a wide mix sources. An even mix of site and specific page links have been made. I have multiple articles on EzineArticles achored to the site. The rate of link building has been quite modest as well, and even clip of no more than 25 to 50 per week. The site is page 1 on Yahoo and Bing for my prefered keyword "Mobile hotspot". The domain is 6 years old, and site has been fully live for 10 months. 100% original quality written content on the site. I have on-page SEOed the site to the max. Domain name is 100% match to my site keyword.

Here are the facts that a KILLING me:
    * still PR Zero after all this time
    * Google webmaster tools show only 11 Links!
    * Sandboxed for my search term "mobile hotspot" (not anywhere in top 1000)

As mentioned, any ideas or advice is greatly appreciated. I am on the verge of giving up! There is something about my site that google seems to hate.

Nope, as long as the website is indexed by Google then it isn't sandboxed.

What type of links are your building in addition to Ezine? Also, it might just be an extra long Google dance, so just wait it out and keep building more links.

if I was you I would make 4 articles (spin of course), each revolving around your keyword. Then go to a site that will drip distribute them over time to blog networks - this has always worked for me, assuming you do the other stuff (social bookmark, web 2.0 etc). This will usually get you about 500-1000 links or more from many many diff IP addresses and will not get you sandboxed.

Another method - go over to http://www.qondio.com/

open an account, start adding original content and point all the links to your money site. - its free and it has worked for me on some tough keywords to get me over the hurdle go G actually "caring"

Also, try making a few videos and mass submitting those to vid share sites (even dumb stuff like how to navigate your site), OR even get a PAD maker and make your website into an .exe and submit it that way to share sites for links - perhaps you just need to get a bit more creative and see if the diversity helps.
