So, I have a domain that I bought about 6 months ago and its ranking on Page 2 of Google. It's not an aged domain and even though it has many more links from the various SEO packages offered on this site than many competitors ranking higher, it hasn't been sandboxed. Now, I have another site, new domain that I want to rank, but for branding purposes I couldnt just buy an aged domain for the site. So, I'm planning to buy an aged domain as well as some higher PR domains and do the following: Take the wordpress site and keep the database and everything in tact from the newly registered domain and copy it all onto the aged domain. I want to blast with SEO packages so I dont get my main domain sandboxed. Then, take the higher PR domains and do 301 redirects to my main newly registered domain. Now, if the aged domain ranks from the SEO work, great, all of the links however will actually be from the newly registered domain. Both sites will look identical. The 301's I just plan to churn and burn as they become de-indexed and lose their power. Can anyone tell me any drawbacks of doing this and or potential alternatives? Thanks wise ones.
