1) I assume that the once per 72 hour rule is for a post for no reason other than to advertise/promote and get your thread to the first page of the forum. Correct?

2) is there a rule of thumb for how many times you can respond to other posters on your thread per day? Once per 24 hours? Twice per 24 hours?

3) Is there an API for OAuth or similar for a third party system to verify that a user is a member of BHW and has a certain membership level? Is there any other API that BHW offers?

4) If no API is available, is requiring users to request a vouch copy on the sales thread for tracking okay?

You can reply once per 24 hours, so use multiquote to reply to more than 1 person.
If nothing has been posted on the thread, then you can bump after 72 hours.

Vouch copies are best handed out in the Beta Test subforum or Jr VIP sections.
