    Hi,

it it seems that one of the major pharma companies failed to register a .net for their newest and one of their biggest drugs whose launch is imminent. Luckily I caught this in time and registered it before anyone else could grab it so now the question is what to do with it. Part of me knows the value of this domain and wants to sell it on flippa or something similar and part of me is bracing for impact when the lawyers get involved.

I figure if anyone would have experience it would be all of you so ... What are your thoughts? If you controlled a domain like this what would you do?

    thanks!

My thoughts are that you wasted your money - it's almost certainly a trademarked name you have, and therefore, you have no lawful right to use it, and it will be taken from you.

Once , the company finds that you use it for promotion or selling anything , they will contact the register who will disable it within few days and transfer it back to the pharma company.

You're waiting for a cease and desist. That may come your way after a request mail to hand it over to its rightful owner. It's trademarked stuff. I think you just wasted your money.

Waste of money. Your going to get that domain taken away from you as soon as they find out or when you doing something with it.

Same thoughts here. No one likes cybersquatters.

    You wasted your money.

I have a very valuable domain as well and only have the dot com. Dont need the rest because I hold US and International trademark on the name. So no one can do anything with the other names. You are in the same scenario buddy.

It's more trademark infringement than copyright infringement that you will be hit with and big pharma has the cash to make you pay dearly just to prove a point also. I would throw that potato before it gets molten hot. Wash your hands of it. Sorry we only have unfortunate news to deliver.

Sell it on flippa and make a quick cash. Chances are nobody else knows about the drug yet.

Other than that, yeah you just lost a few bucks :D
