Mycelium has to allow you to access the BCH. Coinbase announced that everyone who held BTC there, they would allow them access to the corresponding BCH.

Im not familiar with Mycelium. Ive been going from paper wallets but it should be similar if you have access to your private key for the wallet. If you dont then you really should be sending it somewhere that you do anyway.

1. You would first send your BTC balance to a new wallet address of yours for safety. Those coins are now on the continuing original blockchain at a new address. Verify this with blockchain.info.
2. Then import your original private key into an app that supports BCC/BCH (I used Coinomi for android "sweep wallet" )
3. You can then send your BCC somewhere which will then put them on the bcc blockchain.

The sending the BTC to a new wallet is important as you just imported original private key to another app and that brings trust & hack issues.

Double/tripple check all addresses before sending!

Hope you're not in a rush though. bcc chain is slow as hell. nearly 24 hours, 11/20 confirmations on bitrex so far for me.

Exchanges are different as they control the private keys not you so they get the bch and have to decide to pass it on. Coinbase say they will do this by 2018!

Your wallet is safer in a smack heads pocket.
